About us

It’s kool to be you.

Kool Kidz Club provides SEND holiday childcare in Stevenage for children aged 5โ€“12, with a warm, nurturing approach built around each childโ€™s needs.

Our story

Holiday childcare with heart.

At Kool Kidz Club, we believe every child deserves to enjoy school holidays filled with fun, friendship and opportunities to thrive.

We are a specialist holiday club for children aged 5โ€“12 years with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, understood and celebrated for who they are.

Every child is different, so we don’t define children by a diagnosis. We take time to understand their interests, strengths, communication style and support needs, creating holiday experiences that are enjoyable, meaningful and tailored to them.

Who we support

  • Children aged 5โ€“12 from across Stevenage and the surrounding area
  • Children with autism, ADHD and other SEND needs
  • Children who benefit from smaller groups and personalised support
  • Families looking for a warm, friendly first holiday club experience

Community adventures

Outings that build confidence & happy memories.

One of the things families love most about KKC is that we regularly head out into the community. Whether we’re exploring local parks, visiting adventure attractions or enjoying seasonal activities, our outings give children opportunities to experience the wider world, develop confidence and create happy holiday memories alongside their friends.

Every trip is carefully planned, with staffing, individual support and risk assessments considered to help children participate as safely and successfully as possible.

Why families love our trips

  • Planned with individual support needs in mind
  • Risk assessments and staffing ratios reviewed
  • Opportunities to experience new places with friends
  • Confidence-building through real-world adventures

Could KKC be the right fit?

We consider every child as an individual.

We are committed to making KKC as inclusive as possible. KKC is likely to be a good fit for children who:

  • Enjoy a varied programme of creative, sensory and active experiences
  • Benefit from smaller groups and personalised support
  • Thrive with caring adults who understand SEND
  • Enjoy community outings with appropriate support
  • Are able to take part in regular off-site activities with the reasonable adjustments and support we are able to provide

Before a place is offered, we’ll always take time to understand your child’s individual needs and discuss any support or risk management that may be required. If we feel another type of provision would better meet your child’s needs, we’ll always be honest and explain why. Our aim is to ensure every child attends a setting where they can feel safe, happy and successful.

We'd Love to Hear From You
